Warranty of Title

Lus is licensed under the BSD 0-Clause License (0BSD). This license essentially allows you to do anything you want with the software, including but not limited to using it in a commercial product, modifying it, and distributing it. However, you must include the copyright notices in your product or documentation Lus makes use of a few MIT licensed libraries and datasets.

Warranty of Title

Lus is released under the 0BSD license, which allows you to use it freely for any purpose, but even so, some organizations want definitive legal proof of their right to use the software. You might need this if:

Your company desires protection against claims of copyright infringement.
You are using Lus in a jurisdiction where open-source licenses are not fully recognized.
You need a physical legal document to prove your right to use and distribute Lus.
Your legal department insists that you purchase a license.

If any of the above apply to you, Louka Ménard Blondin will sell you a Warranty of Title for Lus. This document asserts that the developers are the true authors and have the legal right to release Lus under the 0BSD license. It also guarantees that Lus will defend you against challenges to those claims.
